Health Camp for Cancer Awareness, HPV Screening

On Saturday, 26th April, the Rotary Club Yala, Rotary Club Hetauda, and Rotary Club Makawanpur jointly organized a health camp on cancer awareness, HPV-DNA screening, and general health at Bakaiya Rural Municipality, Hetauda, benefiting 87 rural residents.

The program was supported by Nepal Cancer Hospital and Research Center Ltd., Upachaarka Lagi Sahayogi Haathharu, Nepal Cancer Support Group, and local supporters: Hariyali Swabalamban Saving and Credit Sansthan Ltd. and Shikharpur Health Post. (A heartfelt thanks to all of them!)

Special thanks go to Dr. Murary Shrestha, Dr. Sitaram Shrestha, Dr. Rajina Maharjan, Sister Puspa Acharya, Sheetal Bhattarai, Parbati Shrestha, and volunteering doctors Dr. Pragati Nakarmi and Dr. Shiva Chandra Shaha.

Free medicines were also distributed to needy patients.
