Zonal Rota Quiz, Region 3, Zone 16 and 17

The zonal round of the Rota Quiz for Region 3, Zones 16 and 17, was held on 3 January 2025 at Goodwill Hotel, Kannibahal, Lalitpur. Two clubs from Zone 16—RC Patan Durbar Square and RC Patan West—along with one club, RC Yala, from Zone 17, participated in the quiz contest. RC Patan Durbar Square scored the highest, while RC Yala secured the second position. The winning team has advanced to the regional round of the Rota Quiz, which will take place later this Rota year. The semi-final and final rounds of the quiz will be held during the District Conference in March 2025.

RC Yala hosted the event. District Rota Quiz Sub-Committee Chair, Rtn Lalita Thapa, conducted the quiz, while Region 3 Chair, Sarita Shrestha, provided coordination support and guidance to the clubs. The team of organizers included Zone 16 AG Gupta Bahadur Rana as the Judge, Rtn Prem Kumar Shrestha as the Timekeeper, and Rtn Jeetendra Nakarmi as the Scorekeeper. The AG of Zone 17, Rtn Suresh Acharya, thanked the host club RC Yala, the participating clubs and team members, and all those supporting the event as a team and joining as part of the audience.
