Talk About Childhood Cancer

On 21st June 2024, the Rotary Club of Yala conducted RWM 1420 featuring a talk about childhood cancer and the Project Paarth Endowment Fund by Dr. Janith Singh and Dr. Rishi Ram. Dr. Janith Singh is an orthopedic oncosurgeon currently working as a lecturer at the National Trauma Centre, National Academy of Medical Sciences.
He and his friends recently established a non-profit organization called Project Paarth to help enable life- and limb-saving surgery for children with bone and soft tissue cancer. RC Yala has contributed Rs 5,65,000 to Project Paarth.
