Blood Donation and HPV-DNA testing

On 31 August 2024, a Blood Donation and HPV-DNA testing health camp was organized jointly by the RC Yala, LMC Ward 6, NCHRC, NCRS and ULSH. A total of 21 individuals participated in the blood donation programs and 57 women were benefited from the HPV-DNA tested at free of cost. Each test cost to the
patients by free of cost that supported by Rotary club of Yala and other organizations.
In the health camp, Dr. Murari Man Shrestha, MD, M.Sc., of the Nepal Cancer Hospital Research Center, delivered a talk on the causes of cancer, its preventative measures and significant of routine checkups, the effectiveness of the HPV Test, dietary discipline, and importance of physical exercise. Rtn Om Shanker Shrestha gave vote of thanks. PP Rtn Surendra Gopal Shrestha handed over the token of love to Dr. Shrestha.
For this health camp, a budeget of NPR 113,000 was allocated. A total budget was jointly contributed by the LMC ward 6 (NPR 20,000), NCRC (NPR 150,00), ULSH (NPR 15,000), RC Rotarians donation (NPR 12500) and remaining deficit budget was covered by the RC Yala.
