Support a Cancer Patient

In the spirit of compassion and empathy, a remarkable act of philanthropy was recently carried out to support a cancer patient on her challenging journey. This heartwarming endeavor exemplifies the profound impact that acts of kindness can have on individuals battling serious illnesses.The recipient of this generous philanthropic deed is Ganga Shrestha, of Sano Thhimi a 32-year-old mother of 17 months daughter, who has been courageously battling stage 3 breast cancer for the past year. Her journey has been characterized by countless doctor visits, chemotherapy sessions, and emotional counseling.
The Rotary Club of Yala and Anns, generously contributed Rs. 30,000, while Upacharka Laagi Sahayogi Haatharu donated Rs. 10,000, providing crucial aid for her treatment and assisting in her much-needed recovery. It provided her and her family, with hope, relief, and a sense of community support that is immeasurable. Mrs Ganga Shrestha expressed her gratitude, saying, “I can’t put into words what this means to me and my family. The love and support we’ve received have given us the strength to keep fighting.
