Health camp for Women of Ombahal at Ombahal Diabetic Center

On Saturday, March 25, 2017, RC Yala Anns Group in association with five other partners including had held a health camp for the women of Ombahal at Ombahal Diabetic Center, Kathmandu. The health camp started at 10:00 AM and ended at 2:00 PM. 65 women had pap smear test for ovary cancer, blood pressure check and blood sugar test.

Assistant Ms. Nilam Kapali carried out blood pressure check ups where as Mr. Prakash Khadka and Lab Technician Shankar KC of Troika did blood sugar tests. Ms. Jamuna Maharjan of Nepal Cancer Hospital did the pap smear tests.

The registration fee was Rs. 100 per person. A total of Rs. 6,500 was collected from the registration fees and the amount was handed over to the Diabetic Center, Ombahal.

Sahayogi Hathharu, a social organization had sponsored daytime light food on the occasion.The camp was started at 11:30 AM and completed at 3:00 PM.
